The Bikini Cocktail

Yields 10 servings

Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar

For the Drink (produces 850ml, serving 10)

400ml decent vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing

Directions

For the Cordial: Combine the listed ingredients into a saucepan, bring to a simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves. After that, take off the stove and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Decant into a sealable bottle, seal keeping it chilled, it can be stored for about a month.

For the Cocktail Base: Pour the specified liquid ingredients in a big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then pass it through preferably using cheesecloth, making it perfectly clear.

When ready to serve: Add 85ml of your batch mix to a stirring glass containing ice, gently stirring carefully for one minute to cool it down. Pour into a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, top with a few cranberries and complete it using a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
